Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this troublemaking bat wandered a little too far from her lair (154775, Zitroneneis), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

Log:

Born in a plague clan, yet growing up and living most of her life in an allied wind clan, curious and impulse-driven Romeria's days were ordinary, peaceful.
In fact, too ordinary and pieceful for her taste. So one day, bored with her life in a place where nothing ever happened, she decided to leave her home to seek adventure herself.

16 March (Mysky):
Romeria arrives in the Water Flight. She finds a friendly clan with a lot of different dragons, but a couple of days she feels that it isn't the right place for her: it's too similar to her previous clan.
She continues her journey...

March 20th:
The harsh southern winds greeted her as she entered the Southern Icefield. She's not quite sure if it's a place she'd like to stay, but she's curious to see what the frozen wastelands have to offer. With an open mind, she ventures further into the lands.

After quite some time, she finds herself seeking shelter with the Valhall clan. They're an odd bunch, for sure, and appear to be quite wary.

March 21st:
The dragons here at Valhall proved to be nicer than originally thought, but the world calls. After having made a few tentative friends and learned a bit about gardening from Trevinge, one of the dragons Romeria liked best during her stay, it was time to move on.

April 22:
Romeria arrived at a wind clan. It was a small but hardy clan, and they welcomed her warmly. They liked to hear her stories while she was there. Marusya seemed interested in what she had learned about gardening at Valhall. She passed on some tips to him. Romeria also became acquainted with Myran, a plague dragon that had settled in the clan. Before long, she parted ways with them.

April 23:
Soon, Romeria had found her way deep into the Tangled Wood. She eventually stumbled into a clearing lit solely by the naturally glowing fungi of the forest. This, she discovered, was the Clan of the Crystal Toadstool. A large and diverse group of dragons gathered to greet her; apparently travelers were quite common in their territory as of late.

After everyone's excitement had settled slightly, another Nocturne approached her, inviting her with a charming smile to come and train with him. It did seem silly, she realized, to be traveling far and wide with no idea how to protect herself, so she agreed.

After a few days, and much stronger and more confident than before, Romeria decided it was time to continue her journey and bid farewell to the Crystal Toadstool.

July 25:
Romeria's upgraded wing strength brought her to the Reedcleft Ascent where she came to The Spectrum, a clan of colorful dragons with colors found all throughout the spectrum, hence their name. She was given a nest and food, but was warned that nests were filling up fast with the new hatchlings coming soon. Romeria took the hint and only stayed a few days.

In those few days she was able to help the clan's librarian and historian learn more about what's out there besides the bamboo surrounding their lair. She felt important and special to be able to help such a new establishment within a different clan. She hoped when she left she would be able to help like this more often.

July 27:
A rough wind blew Romeria off course on her next stint of travel, flinging her all the way back to the Southern Icefield. Unfortunately it was only the precursor to a blizzard - Romeria was forced to land or be thrown to the ground as the storm intensified. The Nocturne found herself searching desperately for shelter until she stumbled upon a small niche in the Crags, where she was welcomed by an inquisitive Pearlcatcher.

The two of them traded stories as the storm whistled outside - when the weather finally cleared, Romeria shook out her wings and flew onward with a friendly goodbye.

September 21:
Romeria followed the high winds back to the Windswept Plateau, where she ran into a well-guarded clan. Eventually, the elder guard brought her to the elders, who decreed that she be allowed to stay a short while, to tell her tales to the many young hatchlings running around.

However, it didn't take too long for the hatchlings to grow up, and Romeria, grateful for her respite, bid goodbye to the warrior clan just a few days later.

October 1:
As soon as Romeria departed the Windswept Plateau she was caught in a twisting head wind, which sent her all the way over to the Arcane Isles. When she finally landed the clan that greeted her was somewhat friendly, but had recently suffered a tragedy involving another visitor. This made her uncomfortable, and she decided that as soon as she had gotten some rest she would say her goodbyes and be on her way again.

October 4:
It seemed that her long journey had ended, when she returned to her home clan in the clouds above the Windswept Plateau.
