Avast yee mateys! Tis your favorite captain Dread, the best pirate to ever brave these waters. I may not understand my matey's magical whatnots or the youngins but as long as they have the pirate spirit they're part of me crew!

Tis time for me piratical codes of conduct. Ye historically accurate pirates held very democratic laws, like life insurance for injuries during piracy or protection for lassies. Ye old pirates had standards, and so do I.

Starting out with rules, each crew member gets a vote on all new laws, and of course, gives me ratings on my performance as captain each year. Mandatory teeth scrubbin' and citrus eating at least once a week, I don't want to see scurvy on this fine fleet.

Plundering and pillaging is to be shared by how much effort you put into the plunderin', as well as my share being the biggest of course. Hostages are to be treated with respect and please give me notice about ye vacation days at least a week in advance.

Course' the golden rule of treating ye mateys with respect. I don't want to see squabbling amongst ye over idiotic doings. Punishment for minor crimes is the appropriate amount of days in the hole, and for severe crimes we feed ye to Fjord

This World

____Dread's mission is to become a pirate legend of sorts, and prides himself in holding the largest bounty on his head from the mainland for a record 3 years. He's a neutral party that will play all sides, but still has solid core values he won't compromise. He's harbored a menagerie of various creatures from literal hellspawn to unlucky orphans. Dread likes to judge people by their 'pirate spirit', and has an affinity for fruity, colorful cocktails. His private life remains shrouded in mystery, though he plays golf often with his best friend Azul and Azul's wife, Nephthys, and is godfather to their child. Come to think of it, he is quite the father figure, acting as a surrogate dad for an orphan and a runaway.

____His intuitive side and wisdom should not be underestimated, as he is aware of ulterior motives in some of his crew members. Since this issue hasn't affected his enterprise or crew yet, he lets it fester. Dread is entirely more concerned with advancing his treasure hoard. YARGH!
