Fiji is a middle aged treasure hunting Spiral dragon hailing from the sea. He is uncharacteristically mellow for a Spiral dragon, often seen napping when he isn't working or searching high value items. Fiji is often oblivious to his surrounding and the feelings of other dragons, and has a habit of making some unintelligible assumptions. Fiji used to be a thief, or a pirate, but left his past of brutality and crime behind him. Most dragons suspect nothing of Fiji, and would never know that he had a history of thievery.

Fiji is generally kind and talkative, slow to anger and not extremely quick to act on impulse. However, if there is anything that can trigger the worst in him, it is conflict involved with material objects, food or money. He can be rather stingy when it comes to treasure, and even when a good friend is having a hard time, he is reluctant to help them with anything treasure related. Even worse than beggars, shoplifters bring out a near demonic side to this otherwise mellow dragon, and if a dragon is seen even looking suspicious around his valuable objects, he will interrogate them at once.

Fiji's shop is rather small, in fact, he is so cheap he doesn't even have a shack or burrow for it. However, his stock is incredibly large. It mostly consists of antiques and exotic things, some of it remaining from his old days as a criminal. Fiji often sleeps coiled around his collection, and is hyper vigilant to thieves due to his own past. Fiji enjoys the company of Celesta and has a bit of a thing for her, as he is willing to sacrifice some of his treasure for her well being from time to time. Whether or not his feelings will ever be reciprocated, however, is a mystery among the clan- and Celesta is not giving any hints.

History

Fiji was born a water dragon and was raised on a remote unnamed island near Fishspine Reef. With many siblings to compete with for food, affection and nourishment, Fiji became top dog out of his siblings quite quickly. He learned that to think about other dragon's feelings would mean losing lunch or attention from his guardians.

When Fiji left the nest, he quickly joined a band of pirates, and established himself as leader after proving his authority and strength. Together, he and his comrades committed acts of brutality towards other thieves especially. Though he was not above attacking clans, the thought of hurting innocents gave him slight unease.

After witnessing too much, Fiji disband his group of thieves without explanation. Upon doing so he had made several new enemies, and decided to travel to Light flight to escape his past. He quickly assimilated into his new environment with ease, setting up shop and ridding of stolen items so that he could not be tracked.

He simply stumbled on Manifold clan one day, and noticed it was rather small, but filled to the brim with clan members eager to buy off his archaeological findings in particular. To better sell his wares, he made the clan his permanent home.
