Bessy

Bessy had always been the mothering type. She would comfort all hatchlings in her clan. Let that be those that had wandered into the clan or that were hatched in the clan. She eventually called the wandering hatchlings wanderers. She would comfort these wanderers by snuggling with them and telling them stories. Bessy would eventually adopt these wanderers. Whenever a wanderer would come of age they would feel loss. So Bessy came up with a solution to help the Wanderers by informing them of a greater purpose. Not just any purpose but an honor above all. That honor was serving the Tidelord. She would never push wanderers to serve the Tidelord but would inform the wanderers that once they became of age they needed to do more with their life instead of staying in the clan and doing nothing. (This was Bessy's way of letting her adoptive children to move out but not telling them that so they wouldn't feel pressure.) Yes Bessy has loved all her little wanderers but also all the clan hatchlings as well.
There would be times that she would have to protect some hatchlings from being sent off to serve the Tidelord too soon. One dragon in particular would come in the night and kidnap these hatchlings and drop them off in the Leviathan Trench. The parents of those hatchlings would morn the loss of those children but would eventually recover from their loss.

Bessy would always morn with these parents since she was the one that helped the mothers through the birthing process. She is still trying to find the Dragon or dragons that are doing this.
