Cras ut fermentum nibh. ⚔ ORIGINS The first one did not work; she was too stubborn against his will, and took his children away from him. In the end he was left stripped of his power and wounded, but it was his pride that hurt the most. That damned Daedra would pay dearly, but first... He had found another, a relative of the first's. She promised Dirge that the same potential ran through her veins. If he would nest with her, she could succeed where Daedra had failed. Oh how she lied, just to get his affections. None the wiser is he, however. Things would go differently this time. Without his magic, he could not hope to gain the same power from these hatchlings as he had with his first nest. However, there was still use for them yet. Each of them has had a small piece their life force drained out, stored later for a dark ritual, and now there's something... off about them. Or perhaps they were always like that. There is a gleam in their eye, too evil for ones so small. The way they smile and slither about makes their caretaker uncomfortable, and the other hatchlings in the nursery are too scared to go near these three. But what can be expected when you have a sadistic narcissist and a vicious bully as parents? Gods help whatever clan comes across one of these little demons. ⚔ STORY Aeshma could have been a nice dragon, he truly could have, but his father's evil nature and vengeful plans twisted the ridgeback into a vile narcissist with a nasty temper and a taste for others pain. He takes great pride in his appearance and in himself, almost to the point of delusion, but under the self centered shell lies a cunning manipulator. His self-delusion leads him to acts of violence and dangerous dares, at one point he ate almost all of a poisonous ivy sent to him by an angry half-sibling. After the death of his lover by his own hand, Aeshma renounced his father's path, determined to become a better dragon. He now serves as a mercenary with his half sister, Toci. Aeshma's path towards a more docile and friendly nature was called to a halt by the rise of the king. Now, instead of the fully reformed ex-narcissist he wanted to be, he lies somewhere in the middle, still struggling to change his vicious ways. He stays close to his sister, Toci, most of the time, hoping to gain some of her emotional control. ⚔ OTHER
