Drake

Drake is a troublemaker, and he knows it. He's brilliant at pranks, skilled with all sorts of booby traps, and excels in asking "Why?" so many times it's enough to make an adult dragon cry. And unlike his brother Derek, he has no love of studying and learning.

"It's boring!" he'll protest to anyone who will listen. "Why do I need to know about fossils and stuff?"

Nevertheless, Drake has inherited some of the Ice Dragon stereotypical traits. For one, he's amazing at remaining straight-faced when presented with an accusation.

"Of course it wasn't me," he'll chant. "Do you really think I am capable of that? Be serious. I'm only a hatching, after all."

His parents want him to follow in their footsteps as a praelia, but Drake has other ideas about his future. He wants to become an Alchemist and learn how to create amazing things. Drake has a long way to go before he's ready to pursue his dream, but he's content with being a hatchling. After all, who really does want to grow up?
