Scoriae is known by many names and titles: High Inquisitor, Vox's Shadow, the Executioner, the Imperium's Sword, etc. She is second only to Vox, and garners almost as much respect from Vox's followers. Tales of her battle prowess and coldhearted victories spread like wild fire, each more dramatic than the one before it. Most of these tales are, of course, lies. But every lie has a grain of truth to it. Not many in the Imperium have had reason to see Scoriae battle. She acts as Vox's bodyguard and rarely leaves his side in public appearances. If Vox is the warm gaze of a summer afternoon, then Scoriae is the moonlight that leaves you cold and unfeeling. She doesn't appear threatening, her posture usually relaxed and stoic as she razes the corners of the room with her too sharp eyes. Instead, there is a sense of something coiled inside her, something wild that wants to spring forth at any moment and that is barely leashed by Vox's silent commands. A hellfire burns in her eyes, chaotic and hungry, impervious to any sort of logic or reasoning. There is no doubt that Scoriae is unfailingly loyal and devoted to Vox, almost to an extreme. She would do everything for Vox and would happily give her life for him if needed be. This feeling doesn't come from any sort of misguided romantic notion; Scoriae doesn't care for him that way. There is a long story between the two of them, but they have hidden it well from anyone else. Out of all the higher ranked Lysistrati, Scoriae is the one who hates magic the most, although hate is too light a word for the mix of loathing and rage that swelter inside her. In her mind, magic is an aberration against the laws of nature. Dragons that are capable of wielding magic are a blight that should be swiftly erradicated from the face of the earth by any means necessary. She's almost fanatic in her belief that anything that magic has touched has become tainted, soiled, rotten - and that means herself too. The white flames that burst forth from her body are the weapon that she wields against those in her path and the instrument with which she burns those who are like her: abominations that should never have existed. She might have been born with this curse, but Scoriae's determined to put the world to rights even if she has to burn it all along the way. » Has an enchanted blade that consumes magic, aptly named "Calamity".
