When Crow destroyed the gate, the souls of the dead were not the only things he released into the land of the living. Much more dangerous creatures—beasts held back only by the barrier between life and death—crossed over. And one of those creatures is Bewitched.

An ancient god of the forest, Bewitched was first sealed away in a tomb thousands upon thousands of years ago. He was set loose a couple hundred years ago, and entire clans were wiped off the map thanks to his wrath. His reign of terror was brought to a screeching halt when he met Tudri, however; he couldn't help but care for the ever-stoic dragon. He couldn't do anything but give in when the warrior practically begged him to stop. And he couldn't do anything when, a few months later, Tudri stabbed him in the back—literally.

The old god has rested in the afterlife, building up power unlike any he had known before. As soon as the gate crumbled, he clawed his way back to life. His first sight, of course, was his mate, looking every bit like the warrior he had once been. Tudri didn't spare so much as a glance in the direction of the god, and that was fine by him. The fewer eyes on him, the better.

His days are quiet. He wakes with the sunrise and stays up late into the night. With his fellow god Phoadite at his side, he is content. The gate is open. The Leviathan will wake soon.
