Artemisia was born an artist. It's in her very name. She dabbles in most art forms, preferring painting, her favorite subject being the Icefields. She met her mate, Oswald, on her journey to the Icefields, and kept him around as he worships the ground she walks on and makes a good transporter of her supplies. She's grown more affectionate of him as they aged, and assures that she wouldn't ever go anywhere he wouldn't like- for an extended period. She chose the Akashaa for their lair location- in the Star Wood Strand, the trees' flowers resemble stars, and she simply had to capture the way they look at night. Now that they've moved to the Hewn City, she's found herself motivated to capture the eeriness of the place- from a safe distance, as she runs a high risk of becoming Touched, like her brother.

Artemisia can be a bit flighty, but is ultimately loyal to the things she chooses to like. Her art, her mate. She may take time to come around to new dragons; but the proof is in the letters she still writes to her brother, all these years later.

origins.
No one is quite sure where Artemisia came from, beyond her Arcane eyes. When asked, she'll humph, and continue working on her painting. The only clues are her Arcane eyes and these odd, cryptic sketches Oswald keeps finding...
