Biography

When Imbata succeeded the role of Clanhead from Chalcedony, the ancient Imperial imparted no advice on how to manage the unruly Clan/67 with a steady hand. Imbata has had to, shall we say, wing it. His mate has mentioned to this reporter that our fearless leader really does have a softer side, though this reporter isn't close enough to the courts to comment on that.

However, the Flamescale illusionist ever-present at his side doesn't speak of him with fear or anger in their tone. That speaks volumes.

Born on the sweeping, gusty scape of the Windswept Plateau, Imbata cuts an imposing figure. His eyes reflect the ghost lights during ceremonies but never look as empty as perhaps they should. He is a steady, fair ruler, this reporter can say that. It is likely he was a stoic and learned child. Our interview was more focused on Imbata's projections for the future of the clan. This reporter now reflects upon the deft touch Imbata took with turning our interview from his past.

"Clan/67 has might, weight," he said, "and vigor. Together, we are a force not only to be reckoned with, but welcomed. No one stone in this artful bastion is wrought with any less than the finest care, nor maintained with anything less than—" Here, a rue smile, perhaps at the wording to follow: "—absolute love."
