Growing up, October was a loner. Being able to see spirits from a very young age, she often got teased for talking to 'nothing' and 'nobody.' Because of that, she kept to herself, not wanting to be an outcast. As October grew up, her connection to the supernatural got stronger. She was able to see spirits more clearly, however they were able to interact with her even more. Meaning she could get hurt by them. During her interactions with spirits, she's gotten a few scars; some more serious than others. Wanting to put her ability to the test, she threw herself into studying the paranormal. If there were others like her, she wanted to help them understand their gifts. During a bad time in her life, when a demon took over her body, she was saved by a Pearlcatcher named Hallow. While stern and serious, Hallow managed to exorcise the cruel demon from her body, saving her. They spent quite a bit of time together after that, and soon fell in love. Hallow was the first dragon in many years to actually treat her with respect, and affection. She holds that very dear to her. After getting together, they moved to the Tiered City of Ilthorne, searching for not only a house together, but to help others in the city with anything paranormal. However, upon coming to the city, October sensed quite a bit of demons living there. They had to be careful, not only for themselves, but for those living in the city. After all, her and Hallow had quite the reputation... October is friendly and kind, always smiling. She enjoys being with others, though she can be a bit shy in new groups. The bullying from her childhood is to blame for that. She's fearless when it comes to spirits and demons, and while she knows she can get hurt, she puts herself, and her life, on the line, so that she can help others. She adores and loves her husband, Hallow, and believes that she's blessed to see sides of Hallow that he doesn't show others. |
