Ormel

Though a reserved dragon, Ormel makes for a solid representative for the Lightstone clan. He carries with him a sense of dignity and wisdom that many turn to, if they can overcome the unfortunate cloud of intimidation around him. With all his service given to the Water Flight clans, they have earned a soft spot in his heart, and he has grown to love the ocean and all its mysteries. Still, he remains dedicated to the Lightweaver and continues his mission of spreading her knowledge.

Ormel was hatched a Mirror, but his current appearance as a Bogsneak was a result of Cryo’s “help”. He originally went to the alchemist in the hopes of finding a potion that would help him to breathe underwater, to improve his ability to work with the Water clans. Unfortunately, this was around the time the Bogsneak Mutagen incident was raging around Sornieth, and every alchemist in Sornieth was trying to duplicate Baldwin’s transformation—including Cryo.

To make a long story short, the gill-growth potion and Cryo’s experimental concoction accidently got mixed together, causing Ormel’s unintentional transformation. Though unfortunate for the former Mirror, the accident proved to be a huge advancement in alchemy, much to Cryo’s excitement. Ormel got his gills, however, and has learned to live with his new appearance. Though he does, from time to time, miss his second set of eyes.
