Despite being born of the rare Envenomed Jaguar subspecies like her matched mate, Balam. Seshat has few of the characteristics that define the breed. Boldness, power, cunning, confidence...these she all lacks. She only possesses a few traits known of the species other than her beauty, coloration and genes, including: focus, agility, love of twilight and dusk along with her quiet intelligence. These traits mark as part of the proud bloodline dubbed: The Night-Sun Warriors.

Sheshat is a timid, gentle, and quiet spoken girl. All elements in complete contradiction to the nature an Envenomed Jaguar should have. She spends her days in the library as the official scribe, chronicling events occurring across Sornieth and in the Clan. When she is focused on her work nothing can distract her, except a loud and unexpected sound that will have her quickly seeking cover. She's particularly afraid of thunder.

Balam is her mate, she was chosen for him from birth to continue the species' bloodline and there was no leeway or say in the arrangement due to rarity. She will do anything to please her partner, and admires him with great fervor for he is an ideal specimen of their species. Sadly, he holds no sentiment in return nor any loyalty and Seshat has come to accept those factors in their relationship, hoping someday he will find someone to make him smile. Despite the lack of affection from Balam, Seshat holds him as an idol and hopes she can overcome her shortcomings someday as an Envenomed Jaguar. In the meantime she remains faithful to him and her work, happy to do what she loves: to write for her clan.
