Laid back, likes to joke, creative, likes tinkering, usually friendly with everyone.

Still not entirely sure how he tamed Sypher but is frequently doing things to make her blush because he likes to make her flustered. Jokes around with everyone, doesn't pull as many pranks as he used to because he's usually too busy being responsible now. Good at disarming volatile situations and soothing ruffled feathers (and explaining Sypher's behavior to visitors, because she's really not that good with people, especially that she doesn't know.) Best friends with Arroni and tends to get up to drunken mischief with him just a little too often.

Second gen, used to be basic guardian.

Gambol started out as a member of the Fire flight, in a Fire clan and with no idea that he'd ever leave it. Then one day a pack of mirrors blew through his Clan's territory and trashed several things they'd been working on... including his first real bit of craftsmanship as an adult. Outraged, he chased them out of his family territory and proceeded to follow them to give them a proper thrashing all the way into the Wind lands. He bumped (quite literally) into Sypher during this pursuit and when he found they had the same quarry he helped her rather gleefully beat the stuffing out of them. He hadn't really thought of this particular journey as a Search in any form or fashion, but he saw something in that seemingly grumpy, quite beautiful, and extremely massive (he was only half grown at the time, what do you want?) lady that day that he couldn't ignore... and later found that only a rare few got to see. She was passionate, and caring, and honestly very shy about it. He knew he was never going to leave her side... but convincing her of that was a trial in itself, but he eventually won her over. He's never regretted leaving home, though... when he finally did think to write home and got back a scalding lecture over letting them fret for so long, he almost regretted writing back at all. *cough*

Cracking jokes left and right and almost always with an easy smile or playful jibe, Gambol honestly seems like he belonged in Wind flight from the start. Others often comment on how it seems more like Sypher and Gambol were born into the wrong Flights... at least until they see Gambol's temper finally set aflame. It's a rare thing, and it's much more like lava pouring out of a volcano than just a simple flare. Fortunately once it finally does burn out the matter in question is usually settled permanently as far as he's concerned. Though... that might be because he re-arranged someone else's face. Really though, he's probably the nicest guy in their clan full of rowdies.
