Beware this dragon, traveler, for she is the personification of mischief, and don't let yourself be fooled by her melodic voice, for you will be doomed if you do. Many a dragon, captivated and mesmerized by her singing and her shimmering scales, has found his death in the cold waters of the Southern Seas.

This dragoness travels the lands, seeking out dangerous places to lie down and sing, casting a spell over every living creature around her, causing them to forget everything else, seeking nothing more but that angelic singer. She actively seeks out ships and groups of travelers, luring them to dangerous cliffs, rocks, icebergs and rifts in the ice with her songs and her beauty. Whoever succumbs to her bell-like voice is bound to die, and only a few manage to free themselves from her magic ties. Bones and scales, ships and treasures are scattered on the bottom of the sea, each and every one a remnant of her victims.

She favors sharp rock faces and high cliffs near riverbanks and the coastal shores more than anything else when seeking out a singing spot. There she will sit and watch, patiently waiting for someone or something to catch her attention. Sometimes, she will play with her victims, making them believe that she wants to help them find their way, ensnaring them and binding them to her hypnotizing gaze, her voice as soft as a summer breeze, before she leads them to their doom.

There are many stories from those who managed to escape her, telling of echoing words and songs, twisting and tangling in their heads, until nothing else was left. Others tell of promises and kind words, emerald scales shimmering in the low evening sun, bright eyes as deep and enchanting as the sea. A voice as beautiful as the morning sun. They call her a goddess, an angel, a ghostly apparition. And those who have died are said to have called her name. Loreley.
