The son of both a banker and a hunter, Lucifer has the best of both worlds—a keen sense for numbers, and a certain visceral quality that unsettles others.

And what does he use it for? Poetry! The fool! Does he not want a successful career or what?!

(Insert exasperated sigh here)
Ah, yes, Lucifer isn't what everyone expects of him. First impressions can be a real hassle, especially. His appearance can be alarming, his sly demeanor disarming, his outlook somewhat... charming? Sometimes, others just don't know what to think about him.

Nonetheless, he's been around in the Hollow for a longer time than most others, and given that, he commands respect from most too. Career-wise, his poetry doesn't really command anything. It can range from nonsensical, to dramatically realistic, to purposefully distracting. He enjoys publishing his works anonymously under the pen-name, "Talon Black," but occasionally he feels obliged to share works publicly with the clan. Marina, the archivist, likes to feature his works in any flyers or clan newsletters she puts out.

Lucifer prides himself on his dapper look, and never leaves for the day without first conferring with a mirror. Multiple times, really... Just out of habit. His familiar, whom he named "Smokebillow Billy" during his hatchling phase, is also thoroughly brushed after the morning rise. He seems to like the attention.

His parents don't really appreciate the way Lucifer dotes on others, especially his familiar. In fact, they disagree on most things. Vocally, Lucifer likes to disagree on his father's facial-hair choices! It is indeed a very intimidating 'stache, though maybe the Wildclaw is simply jealous that he cannot grow one for himself.

Valentino wanted his son to assume his place in the Banker's Guild, once the time came, and of course Nymeria wanted her role as hunter assumed, when the time would arise. Both options clearly couldn't work concurrently, so he ignored both ideas and set out for what he wanted. This was a bit of a scary idea, at first, to abandon what your parents set out for you, but he gained inspiration from a friend. Agana encouraged him to reach for what inspired him, and to work to inspire others.

From a young age really, poetry spoke to him. He felt like he could hear it, playing his soul like a harp, plucking strings no one else could touch... All of those whimsical thoughts... But during a certain period of time, he was held down by more than his family, and feared to pursue such aspirations.

Glade. Before meeting Cara, Glade was an arsehole. Particularly towards Lucifer. Two kid Wildclaws from different families, living in the same clan? No one could have seen that going well. Glade could be a bit ruthless in his bullying towards Lucifer, though not enough to the point of giving him the scars he bears today. That's another story!

But despite it all, and despite Glade's "transformation," Lucifer can't exactly find it in himself to fully forgive Glade for the childhood trauma. Besides that, he needs some material to draw angst from, it'll help the poetry! In a weird little way, that's why the grudge holds on as it does. It's hard to just drop your hurt on the floor and forget about it, y'know?

Generally, Lucifer is humbled by the fact that he wouldn't want anyone else to feel hurt in such a personal or emotional way, so he does his best to be kind and patient with others. The most his dislike for Glade might go is a pointed glare, or the occasional argument. Given the new division of the clan factions, tensions can only continue... But Lucifer wants to remain a font of healthy emotion for others, and genuinely hopes that this will persist throughout current turmoil.
