He's still a Mirror at heart, though he likes to think his clanmates cannot see it. In some ways, he's correct - his modern shape fools people into thinking he can be anything other than the Onyx Mirror, the hoarder and consumer and hound.

Yet he still barely flies, and he perches upon columns as if he's a guard Fangar, claws digging into his pearl, and his gaze still follows everyone who enters, judgementally.

He's judging their clothing, for the most part, but still.
