Evelle is closed off to every dragon. No one really knows who she is or what she thinks of people, only that she stops by on rare occasion to leave food for the hatchlings. In truth though, Evelle is just shy, terribly clumsy, and socially awkward. She prefers to keep to herself and to her plants, watering them and tending to them until they glow with a brilliance no other skilled herbalist can replicate.

Lurking in the shade of trees, Evelle roams the forest in search of the best alchemy ingredients. She is a plant enthusiast who will go to any length to care for her herbs . She puts much of her time into creating useful potions and tonics. Evelle's limbs are wrapped in bandages from accidents involving her projects. Many of the flowers she gathers have thorns and she uses glasses to contain her creations. This does not help when she drops them, (this happens frequently). Evelle has yet to give her den-mates cures to their ailments (when they have them). When she finally musters up the courage to approach her den-mates, the illness has already passed. She does not interact with the rest of the dragons in Star-burst Clan very often but when she does, she speaks in riddles that do not make any sense at all. This confuses them to no end and repels them further.

She enjoys things that scare dragons who are more faint of heart than she is. Evelle believes malevolent ghosts are just disoriented and will often be in a difficult situation with an angry spirit. She can be very naive at times but she always finds a way to overcome a problem. Evelle encountered a sprite on one of her outings and it has followed her everywhere since. To her, the persistent trailing can be annoying at times but she has grown fond of the strange fuzzy friend over time. The sprite can grant two wishes to people they care about. One of Evelle's wishes is to gather the courage to speak with the other dragons of the clan.

A rustling was heard from a thicket to Evelle's right but she paid no mind to it and continued picking flowers for her collection. She was working on a new potion that in theory could cure Dragon Pox but she was missing a few key ingredients. It had been a while since she had developed something that actually worked and she was wondering if she had lost her touch during her recent brief vacation. Evelle was gently shifting her claws through the stems of the plants in search for another bi-color blossom when she felt damp, heavy breathing down her neck.
