Long ago, when the universe was young and forming, two dragons became, birthed by the great swirling dark energies. Their hides were as crystallized starlight and their wings broke the light into millions of tiny faces. Their bellies have been said to contain the stars of an entire system. These two dragons – one male, one female – became inexplicitly tied to each other through fate. They lived many years, feeding on the dust left over from the birth of stars and galaxies, but then, as all living things must, they died. Elsewhere in the universe, two dragons were born again of the dark stardust, the next generation of the great dragons of space. Cycle after cycle the starbellies would be born to find each other in the reaches of space, find each other and love each other, and then pass into stardust again to be born elsewhere, to live yet another story and find each other yet again.

Medusa is a deceptive, sinister starbelly. She hides in the background, barely visible to any except those with the proper tools and training to seek her out. She's bitter for a wrong that occurred to her in a past life, and that has poisoned her view of this world. She spends her time stalking through the shadows, looking for others to make miserable. Her frustration may be tempered with the right companionship, though the journey would be a long one.
