Born in the Windswept Plateau, Howlite felt the natural pull of the open skies that many Wind dragons do, but she always felt…a different kind of pull in addition to that. She loved her birth clan, but always felt out of place, leading her to wander out of the Cloudsong more and more often. Howlite came across Iris and Cricket through not-entirely-coincidence, as they were looking for other adult dragons to help with nests right about the same time Howlite literally dropped into their territory. In exchange for letting her heal her injured wing in the safety of their den, Howlite warmed the hatcheries for Iris and Cricket so they could make an emergency gathering run. | Howlite has no known supernatural senses, the only adult of the Garren without one, but she makes up for it by quick use of her claws in battle and sheer determination to put up with the oddities of dragons who live in past, present, and future at the same time. Howlite never pictured her life playing out the way that it would, but she has fully embraced it, pouring her boundless energy into scouring every inch of her tattered map for dragons who need the Garren just as much as the Garren needs them. Even dragons who don’t join the clan can expect the odd visit from the curious Imperial. |
