Biography
Astrologist • Advisor
Right hand to the Royal Couple

Gemini was born under the star Capella, one of the ten brightest in the sky, known for its brilliant light which can glow many colours. Perhaps because of this, it was destiny taking Gemini's hand as she grew. While most of her clan studied mechanics, engineering, and all of the typical trades of the lightning faction, she remained focused on the sky, reading constellations like books and loving the stars so fondly she wished to fly up and touch them. When Gemini finally matured enough, with the blessing of her clan to guide her, she ventured out into the grand lands of Sornieth seeking answers for why she never felt quite at home, or perhaps kinfolk she could share her sense of outcast with. Finally, upon her fifth month travelling, she ran into an enormous, abandoned observatory formed from crystal that seemed to shoot from the ground beneath. It was there that she rested for a long while, using the observatory to continue her hobby, enjoying its library to learn more each day. Before her first year had passed, Gemini was a very gifted astrologist, and she had been enlightened to another very special gift bestowed to her by what she could only describe as "The Star God". She was now able to see into the future in glimpses at will. She didn't know it then, but her gift would serve her quite well. Once a year within the observatory had passed, Gemini had grown very lonely despite feeling so kindred with the stars in the sky. She decided to continue her original journey and travel as far and wide as she possibly could, until she found another place to lay her head - and hopefully find friends. It was in the Light territory where she finally did just that. She was flying along one bright Summer day, and grew distracted by the intense sparkling across the water nearby and suddenly a mighty collision came to be. Gemini couldn't believe it when she opened her eyes and above her stood the largest and most beautiful dragon she had ever seen. The dragon's mane flowed in the wind like fine silk, and her scales glowed a brilliant dark blue, while her underbelly sparkled gold in the sunlight. The dragons eyes pierced through her with their icy blue colour as it looked down and asked, " Are you alright? " with an angelic voice. Gemini quickly jumped to her feet, apologized, and explained her distraction and the dragon simply giggled sweetly. " I'm Honor, and you are?" posed the strange dragon. " I-I-I m Gemini! Daughter of Darshay and Andrine," she responded, " Where am I? " Honor drew her impressive wings out and then tucked them behind her, allowing shade to cool Gemini, before she was again bathed in light. " Why you're in the Light territory, my dear, and you may have found just the right place to rest for a while. " Honor spent the better part of the afternoon walking with Gemini, explaining that she belonged to a clan that was full of misfits, dragons who didn't fit in where they were born, were abandoned, or simply came to seek new knowledge. Gemini couldn't believe what she was hearing, had she finally found home in this clan? The Magnolia Clan? It did have a certain ring to it. |
