The Seer
|
Fatespinner, the First Fate, is not of Sornieth. She isn't even of the same dimension. When she first came her way was blocked and so she appeared not as she should have. so she left temporarily and came back when the Shade was distracted by another Fate, the soldier. (AmunRa) Fatespinner's natural ability is that she can see the branches of the future, she constantly stares at them making it appear as if she were blind or looking at someone else. This ability is unpredictable however, showing only pieces of what could happen. There are two Knights of the Fates that follow her, Opal and Arcus. |

The First of The Fates? When the fighting broke out, Ninigi sneaked off to where he had hidden Fate earlier. "My most humble apologies lady Fatespinner," he bowed low, his snout almost touching the ground. "I had to hide you from Oddspine. you don't know what she would've done had they found you up there." "Don't tell me that I do not know, i can foresee future events after all." "Right," Ninigi bowed even lower, the tails of his mantle dragging in the dirt as he stepped back. "I am sorry. I meant no offense." Fate smiled. "You haven't offended me." Ninigi looked up, surprised. "Let's be off, there is much to be done." "Of course," Ninigi replied, bowing once more before taking Fate's hand and leading her away from the clan. A furious battle had been waged and many did not survive. Fate felt every loss as if it had been engraved on her own heart. As she allowed Ninigi to guide her, she shed a tear for the fallen. ~ Some time later, Ninigi abruptly stopped. "What th-" "Shh!" |

Ninigi held Fate back against a wall she hadn't noticed was there. She had been lost in thought, blindly trusting Ninigi to lead her to where she needed to be. Where were they? Fate focused on the present, letting her map of possibilities and probabilities fall from her vision. Fate's actual eyesight was pretty abysmal and offered little comfort as she saw everything in a clouded haze. Fate turned to look at Ninigi. Had he always been blue? She looked to her feet to find that the ground was no longer the pale green grass of the Sunbeam Ruins, but was now the almost grey sandy terrain of the Shifting Expanse. quietly she retreated in thought once more for a brief moment to speak with the Stormcatcher. "Stormcatcher?" she reached out with her mind. "You there?" "What do you want, Fate?" he barked. "Have any of the others arrived or appeared yet?" "The second was here before you," the Stormcatcher answered. "Though he didn't know it." |

"Ah, has he had his first confrontation with the enemy then?" "Yes." Fate could hear the patience running thin in his voice. "Thank you," Fate replied before she was rudely yanked back to the crag where Ninigi was on the verge of panic. "What are you shaking me for?" she asked, disgruntled. "We have to move!" Ninigi urged in the quietest voice he could muster. "They're right on top of us!" "Who is?" "Followers of the Shade!" "Oh, well in that case. How close are they and do we have any openings?" she asked quickly. "Too many to count, and . . . i think we're surrounded," Ninigi answered. "What now?" "Now? Now we try something insane," Fate answered. "Whatever you do, don't let go." "What-" was the last word Ninigi said before both he and Fate evaporated from the rocky crag leaving no trace that they were even there to begin with. A few yards away, two young dragons blinked slowly, neither of them quite sure of what they just saw. "D-did you see that?" the thinner of the two asked. "No, and neither did you." the other answered, taking his friend by the arm and dragging him off. |

"Well hello again," Fate greeted the grey toned skydancer cheerfully. ". . ." "Something on your mind?" She asked curiously. "Did you know," Lyeto's tone was like a thick sheet of ice. "that this would happen?" "That what would happen?" Fate blinked. "Oh, you mean the hostile take over of your clan? Yes, yes I did." Her smile fell with her last few words and Lyeto looked away, furious. "Though nothing I could've done would ever have stopped it," Her voice lowered to a reverent tone. "No, Nothing either of us would've done could've stopped it. That was brought on by the rage and jealousy of two dragons. One of which, fell in the feud." Lyeto remebered Kumo and how gallantly he fought on Oddspine's side. The two were a really close pair, it was almost like a stab to his own heart when Kumo fell. "But, let us make haste to aid the others," Fate broke the silence with a clap. "The war has only just begun!" "What?" 'You didn't think the Fates would magically make all the wrong in the world disappear overnight did you?" Fate asked with a wry smile. "How silly." |
