Zircon is a spirited Ridgeback known for his boldness. He is rather forgetful, and is not, perhaps, the most reliable dragon, but he's a skilled warrior and is loyal to his clan. He secretly hopes to find a mate someday, but has yet to confess this to the clan's leader, Fern.

His familiar is a Ruby Webwing named Arrow. Zircon has attempted to train her, with little success.
