From their old home in the Tangled Woods, something followed.

When the collapse of a ruin opened the Subterranean river system to the surface during the Night of the Nocturne, Tallis found an old ally living in the dark. Grown huge in his new home, the dark Imperial and his brood rejoined their old clan, agreeing to keeping to the waterways with which they called home.

Killian has stayed beneath the Solar Gardens since they were first planted. His form has been twisted toward a life in the dark water, iridescence colouring his scales and what remains of his wings. Using his legs to beat through the water, Killian is an impressive sight when he feels safe enough to come to the surface.

The oldest of the underwater dwellers, Killian spends most of his time deep below in the twisting tunnels that create a maze of underground rivers. He is by far the most experienced and most successful hunter in the tunnels.

His Shadow magics help to cloak him against bright lights when he returns to the Gardens to bask. Generally only seen close to the surface on moonless nights Killian is very much a water creature, too heavy to leave the safety of the rivers.
