Brilliance

Ferocious from beak to tail, Brilliance is seen by the lair as its most unforgiving protector. He does the dealings in the auctions, procuring new dragons and tending to the affairs when things need selling to make more room in the corners of the vault and pit of wares gathered by the loyals.

He is a dedicated trainer, distracting himself from the history and loss he shares with their leader by delving long and hard with fledglings in the worn grounds of the coliseum, imparting on them the importance of exaltation and serving to their deity. Not things they don't know, he does make a point of recruiting from lairs where exaltation is held in high regard and hatchlings are regularly offered out to be trained for other gods.

But he is also tireless in his search to replace what was lost, gathering lost dragons of extraordinary abilities to join a fray of great beings, nothing as ambitious as he once was part of, where all his lairmates were creatures all too close to the realms of the gods themselves. But still, he finds a glint of his old mate sometimes, her eyes alight in mirth as she watches the new loyals below their sheltered perch play in their elemental prowess and impart their own tales on the new lairgrounds.
