Biography
"My only wish is to be remembered. Nothing more, nothing less."
The Forgotten Doll
Lonely, Anxious, Affectionate.
Sung's egg was laid in the Sunbeam Ruins, but later on, soon before the nest hatched, her egg was found and stolen by a scavenger from the Ice flight. She was brought to a lair deep within the heart of the Cloudscape Crags, but a territorial dispute between her new adoptive family and a rival clan resulted in her egg being stolen again and left within the Fortress of Ends. The young dragon ended up freezing to death before the family was able to find her in time, but her soul entered a doll that had been meant for the children from their nest. From there, she kept watch over the family, but was unable to do anything when they were completely wiped out by the rivaling clan. The corpses were dumped in the Fortress of Ends after being mauled and humiliated and left in an empty cavern with their few remaining possessions after their hoard had been looted. Sung wept deeply for the family, even though she knew that she had been taken from her original family by them. She just couldn't help it; they had tried to raise her but had instead been brutally murdered.
She wept like this for years, going on into decades when it was interrupted by a gang of thieves looking for treasure. The Icewarden had taken heed of their presence, and froze them forever as punishment for daring to try and steal from Fortress of Ends. However, he found that one of the thieves, a young hatchling named Vatrel, was interested in the doll containing Sung's soul. He froze them together, promising that he would release Vatrel as soon as his sins had been repaid. Years later, he kept his word and the two dragons headed out for the outside world together.
Because Vatrel was the one who brought her outside to see the world away from the vast Icefields, she feels that she owes a huge debt to him and does whatever she can to repay him. However, she is afraid of being forgotten, to the point where she wants to disappear if such a thing happens. Sung is very vocal about her feelings and beliefs but also doesn't wish to inconvenience others; these two traits don't mix very well and just end up causing problems for her. As a result, she decides to begin thinking things through and begins to read many books that focus on various topics in order to increase her knowledge and possibly find answers to her problems, as well as giving her the ability to think for herself.
Saving for Vipera, Spinner, and Circuit.
