Lucky has always wanted to be a pirate, swinging wooden swords as a child, trying to learn the ways of a pickpocket. He never truly seemed to learn much from those who taught him beyond basic knowledge. Though what he lacked in skill he made up for in sheer dumb luck. Just when you would think the person would notice his fingers slipping out of his pocket they would be distracted by their friends, just before a guard saw him they would trip on their own toes. He just couldn't be caught.

In truth, one of his ancestors had done right by the Lightweaver and she had chosen to come through with a repayment of their deeds. He was truly blessed with luck and the day after he was born a shining goblin came to protect him. He has been safe ever since.

He joined up with Duncan after he heard the pirate king was looking for someone to take into his crew. Using his signature luck he was able to trick the crime lord into taking him in. Though after duncan figured out that his new member was as green as could be he was upset, but it seemed that every time they left the kid behind the heists suffered. He is always at the kings side now.

He got his wish, Lucky is the captain of the Arch. Though how this came to be he wishes he could forget. Lucky was there at the passing of the old captain, fighting to his last breath to keep his sparse crew safe. After he died at the hands of a group of thieves, Lucky ran into the captains cabin and found a sword. Carrying this blade he tore through the offenders, and after the fact the rest of the crew promoted him.

Now he carries the sword and his new title, his lead helped by the ghost of the one who gave his life protecting them.
