Biography
For a long time, they were inseparable. They used to spend a long time stargazing together; to this day, they meet again whenever he looks up at night, especially when the sky is tinted with a reddish color.

Khuno used to be a commander working at the Lightweaver's personal guard. He was highly esteemed by his colleagues and had always been proud of his charge, until the day he requested to leave the service and disappeared from the Sunbeam Ruins without further notice. Since then, he has been on a journey across Sornieth without a fixed destination or a clear goal.

Every dragon is usually advised to not go alone to any areas where Shade-touched beastclans live. However, Khuno has always been a good strategist, and one who's physically stronger than average. Other dragons who fought by his side used to say that he could cover for at least two strong adults. He likes to say that she is by his side.

He has spent a considerable amount of his journey fighting beastclans in forest and underwater environments. Although he has killed many shade-touched opponents, several beastclans members grew used to his presence and started considering him an ally. As he also helped them in different ways, such as providing important materials, these allies gifted him pieces of handmade apparel as a display of gratitude, which he gladly accepted. He wears them on top of a few white armor pieces, remainders of the shiny set he used to display while member of the Lightweaver's guard.

After many years of journey, while crossing the Windswept Plateau, a strange shadow took over the sky. For many days, there was no daylight; only darkness. Would it be the Shade? Still, none of the deities was anywhere to be found. How could dragonkind stand up to it?
Back then, Khuno fought enemies who didn't belong to any of the beastclan groups he had ever met. He also noticed the appearance of many unclaimed eggs, all colored in shades of purple. If they were dragon eggs, where had the parents gone? Why were there so many of them at once? Other clans were eager to catch them, as curious as they were about the hatchlings, but Khuno found it more prudent to keep a safe distance.
He wasn't afraid of the darkness, but resented not being able to find stars at night. As such, he was relieved to hear that light was about to return to the planet. Dragons everywhere shouted the news: the darkness had been one of Shadowbinder's tricks, who was delighted to watch the dragons' reactions in all lands. Khuno planned to wait until everything was over to continue his journey, and found a good place to rest. However, as luck had it, he came across one of those purple eggs while cleaning the area... the egg soon cracked open, revealing a tiny green dragon baby.
Taking care of a baby wasn't on his plans, but, at that point, Khuno already saw many clans preparing little hatchlings exactly like that one to go serve their own deities. He sighed deeply, taking the boy under his charge at least for a short while. The baby was named Niko and was going to stay around until he could be properly trained to serve the Lightweaver, if that was meant to be his fate.

Khuno grew attached to Niko, whose friendliness brought several others to the clan. They are now surrounded by dragons who appreciate them and love their company, becoming effectively a second family for them.

He made sure every dragon that ever considered staying around could fend for themselves and hold their own during a heated battle. However, he only personally trained two of them: Niko and Nova. Eventually, Nova convinced Khuno and the others to use part of their savings to buy themselves a nice warm chunk of land on the Beacon of the Radiant Eye. He wasn't excited to return to the Ruins, but he had been away for so long that he thought his presence wouldn't be noticed.
He still deals with his beastclans allies on a regular basis, but refuses extended talks with any dragon "authorities", even if it were the Lightweaver herself. As the clan is still loyal to lady Light, Noah took on that responsability.
