"It's a lovely night tonight."

Vasily was born in the Starwood Strand, surrounded by its mysterious beauty since he first opened his eyes. Since he was a hatchling, he has been drawn to the stars, and was often described as curiously driven by his clan members and friends. He was making star maps before he could fly, and thought he was destined to serve the Arcanist. However, when he was a young dragon, his mother felt the call and was exalted to the deity's ranks. Her sudden leaving confused him and disrupted the clan, and Vasily found himself taking more and more to wandering, staring up at the sky, trying to find answers. Before he knew it, he had set off on a journey, ending up on the Windswept Plateau.

After some time charting the stars there, making friends and a family, Vasily again felt the itch of a wanderer. His mate, Tali, came to him one evening to stargaze with him, and when the stars were disappearing in the light of dawn, she suggested they leave. They could strike out together, to the World Pillar, and do good work. She wanted to care for aging dragons there, and Vasily knew it to be a fine and noble purpose. He decided to leave with her and help her in her new calling.

Vasily is pairbonded to Tali.
