Ellipsism - A sadness that you’ll never be able to know how history will turn out.

There's a sigh on her lips as you stand in her den. Her back is to you, her face inches from rows and rows of spines.

"You know, child," she breathes, "it is dragons like you who repeat history. Dragons like you who endanger this clan once again."

She pulls out a book, drops it on the floor in front of you, and there is sudden guilt and fear that wells in your chest as her eyes bore into you. You are suddenly aware of how red they are.

"I'm sorry, young one. But I cannot allow you to make this mistake again."

Ellipsism's love of tales came from her father. She would listen to them over and over, the tales of Hellreek's triumphs and battles. She grew up buried in history books and scrolls, following around clan members thousands of years older than her just to hear their tales. She began to document everything, even little things.

When she moved to Breezeholme, her job got a lot more solemn.

She would sit in her den, day in and day out.

Date of birth. Date of death. Method of murder.

Repeat.

It's when she gets to her grandparent's names that she decides this cannot happen again. She dedicates herself to keeping history from repeating itself. She stalks the halls and always watches.
