Children of esteemed Lady Voidis, a Nature-turned-Plague Mage with powerful magic, it was evident from the beginning that all five children could not stay, for the sake of them clan.
Most magic users are prone to dangerous 'accidents' in childhood, and any children of Voidis would be powerful indeed. Amethyne, Head Mage of the Plagued Breeze, decided the children must be sent to other clans whilst still young as emissaries of peace and goodwill. Voidis rather surprisingly agreed, and four of the five siblings were taken far from the lair, to be found by roving scouts from other clans. With them was a simple note:
Eldest child [NAME] was the first to leave the nest, quite literally. Voidis escorted her as far out as the borders of the Wandering Contagion and quickly vanished as the sounds of an approaching scout grew closer. Puzzled by the mysterious appearance of the hatchling, though they figured their clan had simply been lost to the Scarred Wasteland, the scout left them with a nearby clan, with instruction to train her in magic.
