Biography
A philosopher from Hewn, Trinket frequented the borderlands between the Sunbeam Ruins and the Tangled Wood as it provided the solitude and quiet he found necessary for his daily ruminations. However, all this changed when he was shaken from his thought deep in the woods surrounding when he heard jostling in the trees in the distance. Not knowing anything that could create so large a racket, he hesitantly went to see if perhaps a young vassal had wondered their way into the forest. As he trod further into the wood, however, a thick mist overcame him as he suddenly felt a sharp and bitter pain beginning in his back thing, and electrifying the nerves throughout his person before passing out.
When he awoke, the fog had thickened and a Guardian in ghostly shroud sat next to him, her warmth emanating on the scales that she touched. "I was not certain if you would wake." She said, jarring him somewhat. "It is not often that one from the light is bitten." Remembering his wound, he looked to his thigh to see that there were bite marks, bruises forming around them but no blood dripping. "I am sorry to say my dear, but you may want to stray from the sun for a while." She said calmly. "It would seem as though you are the first in some time to become "draconem nosferatu vampiris."
At this, his eyes narrowed in disbelief. "A vampire.....?" He trailed. Meaning to go home, he stood, ignoring the dull stinging pain that now pulsed from his thigh. "I have no time for such trifles. I have to get back to the ruins to have this wound assessed, if something attacked me as you say, I should converse with the others. He said walking in the direction from which he had supposed that he had come. The fog dissipating, and the forest shrinking as he emerged onto the other side of the borderlands, he noticed a burning sensation beginning in his thigh and spreading like fire. At first, he ignored it, but with every advancing step he took towards the ruins and into the sun, the more his blood seemed to boil, warm streaks of blood now trickling down his thing. When he could take it no more, his conscious fleeting, and closing his eyes, he suddenly glimpsed a shadow cover him through his eyelids, and a coolness envelop his body as well as relief. It was the Guardian, extending her wing to shade him.
"As I had feared." She sighed, a calm demeanor still apparent. "It would seem that you will need to move on short notice."
