Biography

EREBOS
ROLE
"Keeper of Knowledge"

Taking after the magical prowess of his father before, Erebos is a necromancer. Less dangerous for a Ridgeback to practice than an Imperial, he has the distinct advantage of not becoming an abomination after death. He's a very serious dragon, refining his craft to a fine art. He measures each ingredient out to each grain of salt, using the cycle of the moon and stars to decide when it is best to take each action. The result is that those he brings back are surprisingly coherent. This is sadly fleeting, as no one can bring the dead truly back. He can bring back those snatched away to say their goodbyes to their loved ones before releasing them back into the void. For a fee, of course. His materials are very expensive. Some call him cold, heartless, for charging for such a service. Still- no treasure, no necromancy.

He is very absorbed into his work most of the time; taking breaks only to sleep and eat at random intervals. He's not a good person to talk to- his social skills are less lacking than completely non existent. He won't dance around an issue or mince his words. He says what he means and expects others to do the same. With his work centered around death, this can be a little jarring. He cares not for feelings or customs, nor does he seem to understand grief. Bringing back those who are gone means he grows more and more experienced. He longs to seek out a battlefield and see what he can do- but for now he bides his time and lets his knowledge grow.
