There had been some strange goings-on in Blackwell Crevasse - odd noises, dragons waking suddenly in the night feeling as if they were being watched, and most unusual were the patches of ice and frost that slicked the ground and walls.
The few dragons of Butternut's clan with any understanding of magic could only presume one logical answer - ghosts. However, none of them knew enough about the afterlife to actually answer any questions, and none of them knew how to put these spirits to rest.
Enter Summit.
He looks half a ghost himself, his scales icy white and nearly translucent, but he is quick to assure anyone who would ask that he is most certainly still alive. Ever since he was a hatchling, this Imperial has had ties to the spirit world. Where other drake's backs crawl at sensations they cannot explain, Summit knows such feelings as lost souls clutching at anyone they desperately need to listen. Where others see mist and fog, Summit sees shapes of those long dead.
After the clan's move to the Reedcleft Ascent, he has been offered permanent residence in the Highwall Stockade, though he still ventures out occasionally on call. In Summit's absense, the spirits act up again only to quiet once he returns.
Summit is gentle and calm, but not timid. He knows how dangerous emotions can be when dealing with creatures capable of possession, and so has learned how to always keep a level head. While his talents do have a tendency to scare some dragons away, others find him immensely fascinating, and he's always more than happy to share stories and help others with information pertaining to spiritual matters.
