Aline began her journey in life learning to become a doctor, but quickly became swept away by the allure of magic. Performers had visited a hotspot nearby, and her first visit had captured her heart. She visited their show every night before they left, eager to suck up the lights, tricks and colours they put on.

The night they left however, was when Aline made a grave mistake. In an effort to begin learning those tricks for herself, Aline found magic of a different kind; dark magic. Following the instructions by the letter, Alone found herself bound to a rune and her soul at risk of being taken. Desperate for answers, she scoured for one solution; voodoo magic. Binding herself to her articles of clothing, Aline now lives a delicate balance between the living and the dead, constantly working to find a better solution to her problem.

This diligence has taught her to be reserved and self-centered, but not to a fault. Her nature does cause her to be avoiding and deceptive, even going as far as neglecting her close friends. Aline does however treat her friends well and keeps her feelings and secrets safely with them, preferring to have everything on the table and in the clear. Because of this kind of attitude, she may be overly blunt towards strangers, insulting them by calling out their behaviour without thinking.

Aline can also be seductive from a distance, her ring-master persona taking control when she feels like she needs to impress or be impressive. This can work badly with her bluntness, creating situations that put her at a disadvantage. She wants to be dark and charming, but Aline does best in the spotlight, completely in control of the situation.
