Biography

Loyal to a fault, hard-working, and quick as a whip. Deryn spent her days as a young dragon toiling away on an experimental airship, the Leviathan. It was on the ship that she met Alek, a descendant to royalty. He was the only one that was able keep up with her sarcastic remarks and fantastic adventures abroad the Leviathan, and after a few years of working in the skies, the two decided to head off to start a clan.

Alone, either of the pair are formidable opponents, but together, they're all but unstoppable. Deryn, with her unbridled ferocity and her ability to keep a clear head in the heat of battle, and Alek, with his ability to think outside the box for a solution that very few would be able to think of and his unrelenting refusal to back down when protecting their family.

Despite this, they both seek a quiet life, with Deryn constantly working for the better of the clan, and Alek handling the more diplomatic and more civilized matters.
