An awful and terrifying ability to see the worst of anyone in the depths of any crystal or gem has brought this poor child nothing but woe. Fearful of most he meets, and terrified of what might happen to those he cares for, the poor boy tends not to stay in any one place long, lest his 'gift' bring misfortune upon those who live there...as it did to his parents. Lonely and troubled, he discarded the name bequeathed to him by his parents, thinking himself unworthy.
