Egaad

“Darker and darker, he said; farther and farther yet. Death takes the good, the beautiful, and the young - and spares me.”

Egaad has been around for longer than Grimm, even longer than Marietta. He has been around as long as sickness, disease, and perhaps even death itself. Some think he may have fathered Titan, given the clan leaders uncanny ability to evade the afterlife.

He is the embodiment of Pestilence. Infection forever follows him, malady riding heavy on his back. He has taken out entire clans in a matter of days, and is both Titan’s ultimate weapon and only true equal within the clan.

His age and penchant for inflicting sickness aside, he does not appear to be as bold as Titan. He prefers to do his work from within the safety of the shadows, the place of his birth. It is only his ability to afflict others that drew him to the land of the Plague Mother. And it was she that called him to Titan.

He followed The Mother’s voice for years, wandering aimlessly, spreading contagion in her name. She reveled in stealing her sisters child, laughter and phlegm spewing fourth from her maw. She offered him up then, unto Titan, one of her own sons. For only Titan possesses the brains and the tenacity to utilize a dragon like Egaad.

And use him, he certainly does...Ah, they make such an interesting pair, don’t you think?
