Biography

Nicholas had been in the same clan as long as he could remember, but he was different from the others. Though he was born with enviable blue colors, he was handicapped, as his wings couldn't support him, and his legs were weak. He figured fate had picked him out of the group for a reason, and tried his best to play with the deck he was dealt. But as one would imagine, being limited in mobility is not as easy for a dragon, and humans. Humans have built many things to lessen the struggles of disabilities. Dragons however, rarely ever deal with such cases, so they had no need for such devices. When Nicholas had come to accept this as how he was to live, he overheard some of the others speaking of a brilliant mechanic. They said he could make anything for any problem! He thought for a second, maybe such a mechanic could fix his problem, thus he asked where to find him. They told him that he was a recluse, sealed up in a dark cave some distance away. He set out to try to make it to the cave, with hope he could be like the others. After a long, difficult trip to the cave, he arrived. Just as he was about to call out to the mechanic, a small blue-green dragon came out. Nicholas asked him for the mechanic, to which the small dragon replied; "Speaking." This came as a shock to him, but nevertheless he asked him if he could solve his problem. The mechanic, who called himself Actius, told him he could fix anything, and brought him inside. Actius spent many weeks working on some device. When he finally finished, he brought Nicholas over and fitted it to him. He had made metal wings, fitted with gears to allow mobility, and with a constant steam supply to double his flying potential. He also had made guards to go around his ankles fitted with the same metal and gears, to support him painlessly. When Nicholas tried it out first, he could hardly believe it, they worked! He thanked Actius many times and returned to his waiting clan to show them he could be like them.
