This flower, son of a bee-keeper by hobby, rose her face to the sunlight the day she hatched, gazing up into the warmth filtering down through the clear waters and kelp leaves of her home nest. Shortly after her hatching, after telling her his stories of the world, her father left her home nest to return to his. She was not short of any companionship, but the stories of other nests left her yearning for more than her busy, but somehow still tranquil little cove. She spread her wings in the gentle currents and breezes, learning all she could, but still gazing sun-ward.
