I heard them, the voices... They called to me, and I came. I came across an old dragon, another Guardian.... He was a kind fellow, a strange one. Guided me here, to this clan. He showed me things no other dragons know. He was gentle with me, taught me.... Told me to take his place in the clan.
Dark Light.... He was definitely different from the rest of his nestlings. He happened to enjoy the darkness that came with night. Perhaps it was the way he glowed in the dark, seemingly, or the fact he could see them... Ethereal spirits of dragon and animal alike. There were even strange...two leggers. He didn't know what to call them. The voices, however, led him to a kind old dragon, similar in looks to himself.
His name was Spirit Runner... Once, the elder dragon had belonged to the clan, but something had called him away from it. He taught Dark Light all he knew, and made sure that the drake didn't befall the same tragedy he had. He was soon sent off, wearing the same apparel he had once adorned in the clan.
Now, in his new home, Dark Light helps to keep the Glen in peace, making sure that evil, darker spirits cannot harm his family. To them, he is known as.....
