Another World Regice + Legendary Titan of Ice

A long time ago a legend was created. Born out of a conflict spurred by the powerful seeking to control the weak three groups of individuals came together from the ends of the world and forged three mighty titans through the materials of their lands. Imbued by magic and blessed by divinities of another time the three titans were given one task: seize the Gigas from their home and allow their creators to seal it in a place where no one would ever be harmed.

So the legend was spoken--so it would be.

The three titans mercilessly hunted down the Gigas. Upon cornering the entity they weakened it to the point ropes could be grappled across its form and secured to the earth the Gigas emerged from. The titans watched as their creators lined up and laid out a list the powers at hand put forth to depict the Gigas as wretched. The false lies and accusations steadily amounted to serious crimes and each individual present-save for titans and Gigas-announced their vote. The Gigas begged for mercy in a tongue of clicks that the creators did not comprehend.

In pursuit of controlling masses the powerful ensured the Gigas was sentenced to eternal imprisonment. The titans watched the Gigas thrash and fight against their restraints. The creators formed a circle and from there a circle engulfing the circle until two spell-circles were set and a manner of hexes drawn out on the floor. It took three hours for the spell to be complete and the lives of four individuals were lost. By the time the spell was cast the Gigas had been beaten into unconsciousness in their struggle to escape. The titans never moved nor flinched as the Gigas was cast into the depths of the earth.

The three titans were then turned on by their creators. They could not fight back. The magic that had brought them to life controlled their wills and they split up on command. Each titan was taken back to their respective creators' homelands and from there grand monuments were erected to contain their forms. Their constructed forms were abandoned and sealed beyond a plethora of traps and magical barriers. In the time to come each titan's magic would wane and the spell designating free will would break apart but by then the titans would be too weak to escape their prisons on their own.

Descendants of the groups who created them to battle the Gigas wrote their existences into legends that were passed word-of-mouth from one generation to another. In the aftermath very few individuals in the realms know of the titans existences much less the spiels of spells one must navigate to uncover the secrets of their crypts and tomes. Legends rumor that the titans exist to this day--trapped like the very Gigas they helped seal away from the world.

Regice resides in the Ice Crypt, a cavern that rests beyond an ice-slick labyrinth full of meticulous stalagmites and stalactites as well as dangerous underground fauna who have no desire to let random travelers pass. A terrible blizzard surrounds the surface-entrance leading into the maze, located somewhere in the scarce wastelands of Ice's domain. Regice waits motionlessly for someone to trespass the grounds that they are trapped in--the age-old duties influencing their present actions and thoughts.

They view themselves as a guard to the Gigas and the past. Despite the betrayals the creators inflicted on them Regice does not resent the creators. The magical processes that once stripped them of free will are gone yet Regice feels indebted to continue in the duties their ancient creators bestowed on them, possessing a similar sense of will. There is nothing left for them in the world.
