Venus, the Crafter

    A go-lucky and upbeat dragon, Venus is the remaining daughter of Gabe and Iona before the two of them became Exalted and left to serve their deities. Gabe inspired Venus to be creative, to go forth and spread the joy of crafts and art to the Clan. Thus, Venus started the Silkweaver Subclan. She, along with her mate Eros, are in charge of all sorts of crafts throughout the Clan. This includes silkweaving, as their name suggests, clothing, activities for Hatchlings, and trading goods. Venus herself offers craft classes where she teaches painting, and works with clay. Despite her appearance, Venus is anything but prim and stuck-up. With an absurdist sense of humor, it's sometimes a bit whiplash-inducing to hear this dragon joke around with her close friends. Her Light Primal eyes were not a result of her birth, but rather, the result of a flashback from an arts and crafts lesson gone awry, when she uncorked a Scattersight vial instead of a glitter bottle. She appreciates the magic that flows from her eyes now, though, allowing her to work deep into the night without worrying about burning candles or using up magic orbs to light her workspace.
