Hive came to the Shadowbinder's lands when she was young. From the first moment she entered Kertia's clan she has been known as the gentle giant, showing endless patience with young dragons and the more hyperactive members of the clan.

Due to her size Hive was practically a foregone conclusion when it came to assigning guards to the lair. She very quickly proved that she protects her home with all the ferocity of a wild beast when it is threatened, throwing herself into situations that she may not necessarily be able to get out of.

Isolda and Hive hit it off right away. They were placed on guard duty together once and suddenly it was as if they had always been together. Isolda is often seen either zipping around Hive's head chattering away or draped over her neck regaining her energy.

Eponine scared Hive when they first met. She was a creature of shadows who doesn't seem to try to come into the light. After Kertia placed Isolda, Eponine and Hive together in a battle unit Hive realized that despite Eponine's brusk attitude and introverted tendencies she wasn't so bad.
