Jul
Priest + Yul-King + Leader of Prayer
"In this moment of meditation, I open my soul to you, oh wise ones, that you may share with me your wisdom."

Though his parents didn't much care for it, Jul is actually a member of a long line of dragons connected to the festival of Yul, and bears his colours boldly. The first in a couple of generations to refind his spirituality and rededicate himself to the cause, Jul is a Priest that advocates compassion, giving fairly and receiving with wisdom, and looking to the many deities that exist around them for wisdom.

Jul is mated to Amelienne, who recently herself became a convert to the practice of Yuletide. He's quite a serious dragon, and as such, rebuffed Psalm who sought him out in the hopes of having like-minded conversations with another openly spiritual dragon. This was a devastating blow for Psalm, who was already quite fragile and had almost no support network. But Jul doesn't suffer those who are overly playful or cheerful lightly, and tends to conduct himself with a seriousness that can even be seen as dour.

That being said, he is calm and not prone to argument or even heated debate. If people don't believe in Yul and prayer, he doesn't mind and he doesn't proselytise. He spends several hours each day in deep meditation, and as time has gone by, he is becoming more visibly supportive of the Beastclans, coming to dislike the division between Dragons and the clans. This causes him some internal conflict, given almost all his deities are Dragons. He is now coming to believe in the deities of other clans too.

When not in prayer or meditation, or cleaning and tending to his shrines, he is an expert mimic - especially when copying the sounds of birds or the native language of Coatls. He's also an excellent baritone singer, though he only sings during the festival of Yul, and at no other time.
