On her journey from the realm of the Arcane to the desert of the Stormcatcher she passed through Wyrmwood and and picked up some sort of parasite. Whatever it was has made her uniquely suited to dealing with the Flamecaller's children off to the West, who at times try to encroach on the Highland Scrub her clan calls home. Between her natural aptitude for Alchemy and her faint glow on cold nights, meeting her on a border patrol is an, at best, uncomfortable experience.

On her own time she is often found in the company of Firament, who likes to pester her for stories about the world beyond the border. She also likes to scare Rafiel, who is a superstitious dragon at the best of times.
