As clan mage, Pastel concocts potions and spells of all sorts for his clan's use. He is hard working and stubborn, but this can occasionally result in, well, tense situations (never ask about the Great Toad Scandal, for your own safety). He tends to glower and bluff and hardly ever truly smiles, but at heart he is, in the words(signs, really) of his affectionate mate," a big ole doofus who tries to act tough but really is just a giant dork." This was loudly protested by Pastel with shoving and more blustering, as usual. His mannerisms do tend to frighten away smaller animals and dragons though, which he reacts to with varying degrees of exasperation and disappointment. But his devotion to his craft is astounding, and paired with his natural talents for it, he is a force to be reckoned with. His work frequently takes him far from the clan, however, and without Specktor to distract and amuse him, he becomes much more taciturn and grouchy. They manage to keep in touch through Specktor's spirit abilities, much to the relief of all involved parties. His familiar's name is Kags, and he possesses about the same personality as Pastel, if a bit more aggressive.
