Feverfew To him went a quiet death among the wounded; he fell slain by an assassin's blade, too lost in the task of healing to see the danger approaching.

((has hatchlings from previous matings out of a sense of lingering obligation, because menfolk who weren't off taking a nap in the Dream were at a premium back home and he got petitioned a lot by ladies wanting kids. having the same thing happen to him as a dragon prompted the same old instincts. but then boneset fell into his life and that was that.

he hasn't met anyone else from the old world yet; he "woke up" all on his own under some kind of unspecified but familiar duress [possibly something involving a nightmare/unwaking dragon because DADDY ISSUES].

he mourns for it, sometimes, but there's no unbreaking that egg. sornieth has plenty of work for him to do.

not bothered by callirhoe because he knows her type: she's a dryad, a defender of the wilds. [he'd've been better off born a nature dragon, since he has a lot of their ethos.] which actually makes her more comfortable to be around than a lot of dragons. so he sticks with the flowers as a medic, healer, and herbalist.))
