Darrin desperately wishes to be part of his Tundra ancestry, but his native flight makes things difficult for him. He struggles in cold weather and hides his short fur under layers of thick clothing, which makes other suspicious in both hot and cold. Since the clan's relocation to the Fire flight from the more moderate climate of the Arcane, Darrin has found it even harder to hide his true nature, wanting terribly to take off the layers that make him swelter even more than normal, but fearing what might happen if his clanmates were to discover that he has been lying about being from the Ice flight.
