The Noctoad

During a time when Shadow decided to celebrate the toad overlords, Wartoad and Molten Wartoad, the Deitoad Puddlebinder was inspired to create a new subspecies in the Tangled Wood. Puddlebinder decided to sample pieces of various toadstool and wormwart to aid in the process. Several Nocturne eggs were found and covered in a mixture of muck and grime. They were incubated for twice the usual length of time while in the Mire.

On the cusp of another Wartoad victory, the Nocturne eggs begin to crack. Out of the shell hops a little Noctoad hatchling. The Wartoad tells it of the mission of all toad kind: world domination. The Noctoads were sent out into the world to spread their kind, assimilating into the dragon community until the day they are called upon by their Deitoads.
